Accomplishments

On a personal note, we are pleased to report that while we have encouraged our youth to apply themselves towards their academic studies, we are happy to inform you that the adults are leading by example. The adult members of our congregation have continued to further their education, including our pastor and first lady. As a result, the individual is not only making a contribution to themselves, but also to their respective families, our community, and to the body of Christ. Philippians 4: 13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.”

75th Church Anniversary

Mount Zion Family Worship Center - New buildingIn August of 2007, the Mount Zion Family Worship Center celebrated its 75th church anniversary. We thank everyone who attended our church celebration. In addition, we extend a thank you to those who were not able to attend and yet supported the church. The Lord has blessed the members of Mount Zion with a new edifice, but our focal point is to represent Jesus Christ. This mission is to compel men, women, and children of all ages, races, creed, color, and national origin to come and accept Christ as their personal Savior.
